ESQ strives to perpetuate the art and craft of quiltmaking through fellowship, education and service.

ESQ was founded in 2001 when a group of individuals who met in an adult education class wished to take their quilting journey further. From this small group, Evening Star Quilters now has 100 plus members from Nassau and Suffolk counties as well as the NYC boroughs. They range in quilting experience from “beginner” to “advanced.”

ESQ welcomes all. Please join us!

Drawing: Nov. 6, 2016 at ESQ's Harvest of Quilts XIV show!

Harmonious tones of blues and purples in a great geometric design work well together to resemble the waves in the sea. Designed by Laura Flynn, expertly created by ESQ members and professionally quilted by Maureen Marcello—this quilt is terrific!
