Welcome:
Education and Service through Quilting is the motto of this group of individuals who have come together with at least one thread of connection - the love of quilting and all that it symbolizes.
Founded in 2001 as an out shoot of an adult education class, EVENING STAR QUILTERS (ESQ) has grown from its basic 15 founding members to a guild that tops 100 members and continuously strives to honor its motto of education and service.
ESQ has fostered the art of quilting through its educational component – speakers, workshops, member round tables and an annual show. ESQ members have given generously to community based organizations hundred of quilts to be distributed to those in need. From our Veterans, to children in foster care, to babies in grave medical condition and to individuals who are in need of a human touch, the Guild will share its love of this art by sharing its quilts.
ESQ is open to all. Come share this art of expression and a piece of our Country’s history.
