    Meetings are held on the first Thursday of each month at 7:30pm at the Mineola Community Center, 155 Washington Avenue, Mineola, NY. All level quilters are welcome to join.

    COMMITTEES: Please place a number from 1 – 3 in each of the boxes to indicate volunteer preferences.

    MEMBERSHIP/GREETER - Help members sign in, buddy system, greet new members/guests.
    FUND RAISING - Assist chair in various fund raising efforts: magazine sales, 50/50, scrap table, auctions, etc.
    PROGRAMS – Help plan and run meeting programs, member round tables, etc.
    WORKSHOPS – Help plan instructional workshops.
    RAFFLE QUILT – Assist chair in planning, choosing, sewing, showing, etc.
    PUBLICITY/INFORMATION – Can include taking pictures, special events, gather/write articles, etc.
    HOSPITALITY – Help organize treats for the meetings.
    COMMUNITY SERVICE – Assist Chairperson/people in collecting and distributing community service quilts.
    Please be advised that you may not be asked to serve on your first choice committee but please give this some consideration.

    I agree that as a member, part of my responsibility is to serve on at least one committee or on the Board, and contribute a minimum of one “community service quilt” during the membership year. It is also mandatory to contribute a minimum of two (2) hours for the guild’s quilt show and to sell raffle books for the Raffle Quilt.
